Dr. M. Derek Davis graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2008. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Davis worked in the financial services field and in banking, before deciding to return to his passion of healthcare in the dental field. After dental school, Dr. Davis and his wife, Gainor, returned to Gainor’s hometown of Amarillo. Dr. Davis established his own private practice in May of 2010 and has been in his current location since January 2011. Dr. Davis opened a satellite office in Dimmitt, TX in 2012 and travels there most Thursdays to treat with the same philosophy and full service office that he maintains in Amarillo.
Dr. Davis is a member with the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), PDDS, International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics (IACA), and Las Vegas Institute (LVI). He serves on multiple boards within the community.
When he’s not busy creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Davis enjoys playing golf, hunting, and traveling with his family, including his wife and 2 boys.
